The new Director of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has been named as Madushanka Dissanayake.
Thus, on Friday, August 11, President Ranil Wickremesinghe, acting in his capacity as Minister of Technology, made the appropriate appointment.
Dissanayake graduated from the University of Melbourne in Australia with a masters degree in information technology systems management.
Additionally, he has a master’s degree in public management from the University of Colombo, a bachelor’s degree in law from the Open University of Sri Lanka, and degrees in computer systems and networking from Curtin University of Technology in Australia.
