According to the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Russian Federation has delivered a shipment of sunflower oil to Sri Lanka as part of an urgent effort to aid individuals impacted by the country’s economic crisis.
As a result, with the involvement of the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Levan S. Dzhagaryan, the cargo addressed to the people of Sri Lanka and carrying the consignment of 352 metric tonnes of sunflower oil fortified with vitamins A and D was ceremoniously handed over to Sri Lanka.
Yesterday, September 12, the ceremony apparently took place on the grounds of the Veyangoda Economic Centre.
