We, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and the destruction caused to properties by the devastating earthquake in the Marrakesh-Safi region in Morocco on 08th of September 2023.
We pray for those effected and convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this catastrophic disaster. And we pray for those injured for a speedy recovery.
The thoughts and prayers of the Islamic Religious Scholars, the Muslim community and the people of the Sri Lankan Nation are with those have been affected and pray that they are blessed with the strength and courage to overcome this difficult situation. We strongly believe that the effected region in the Kingdom of Morocco will recover from this catastrophic situation rapidly and emerge stronger.
We appeal everyone to extend possible humanitarian assistance to those affected through authorized official channels.
May Almighty Allah help and protect the people in the region, compensate their losses with abundant goodness and bless those affected with tranquility and restore normalcy.
