Yemen’s Houthi rebels have targeted a Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden, resulting in damage, according to the US military.
The distressed vessel received assistance from the USS Carney and coalition ships. No injuries have been reported.
Additionally, US forces conducted a “self-defense” strike on a Houthi antiship missile preparing for launch, aiming to safeguard navigation freedom and enhance security in international waters.
