MFCD Sri Lanka has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation as an ESPD Member Company for 2025 by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Department of Social Services, in recognition of its contribution to promoting inclusive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
The certificate, presented on Sunday (19) at the event held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo , acknowledges MFCD Sri Lanka’s active engagement in the Linkage Creation Program under the Project for Promoting Employment Support for Persons with Disabilities (ESPD). Chairman Mr Hanan Hussain received the Certificate on behalf of mfcd.
The recognition encourages the company to “be the finest model for other companies for creating a more inclusive Sri Lankan labour market.”
The certificate was jointly signed by Darshani Karunarathna, Director of the Department of Social Services; Kuronuma Kenji, Chief Representative of JICA Sri Lanka Office; and K.G.H.H.R. Kiriella, Director General of the Department of Manpower and Employment.
This recognition highlights MFCD Sri Lanka’s commitment to social responsibility and inclusive workforce development in line with global standards.
