President Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid a courtesy visit to Malwathu Maha Vihara this morning (15), where he met with the Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Mahanayaka Thera of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Nikaya.
During the visit, the President inquired about the Venerable Thera’s well-being and held a brief discussion.
On this occasion, the Mahanayaka Thera chanted Seth Pirith and invoked blessings on the President and those present in view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Minister of Health and Mass Media, Nalinda Jayatissa, along with several others, was also in attendance.
