Iran has no current plans to hold another round of negotiations, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Baghaei said there is presently no schedule for further discussions with the United States, amid ongoing uncertainty over the future of diplomatic engagement between the two sides.

He accused Washington of lacking seriousness in pursuing diplomacy, citing what Iran describes as repeated ceasefire violations and contradictory actions that have eroded trust.

Baghaei also criticized recent US moves, including alleged breaches of agreements related to Lebanon and efforts to impose a naval blockade on Iran. He further described what he claimed was an attack on an Iranian commercial vessel as a “clear act of aggression” under international law.

According to the spokesperson, the gap between US statements and actions has deepened public distrust in Iran regarding American intentions. He added that any future decision on negotiations would be guided by Iran’s national interests.
