Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, was arrested after appearing before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (17).
According to reports, Rajapaksa appeared before the Bribery Commission in connection with an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Commission.
Details regarding the nature of the inquiry and the circumstances leading to his arrest have not yet been officially disclosed.
