India has dispatched approximately three tonnes of anti-tuberculosis medicines to Sri Lanka as part of its continued support for the country’s public health system.
Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said the medicines were transported to Colombo aboard an Indian Air Force C-130J aircraft.
Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector and strengthening the country’s public health system.
The latest assistance comes as part of India’s ongoing support for Sri Lanka in the health sector.
