Water supply minister Jeevan Thondaman has denied media rumors that water fees are being collected.
In a tweet, Minister Thondaman claimed that the information being circulated in some media outlets about the National Water Supply and Drainage Board is false.
He also provided the following details on the actions done by the Water Board to collect consumer water bills:
