Saudi Arabian authorities announced that more than 1.5 million Muslims pray in the Kaaba on the 25th night of Ramadan.

The Saudi Arabian Haremeyn Affairs Presidency released a statement on the subject on its social media account.

In the statement, it was stated that Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, which also includes the Kaaba, hosted more than 1.5 million Muslims on the 25th night of Ramadan.

Local media also pointed out that this is the highest number recorded in the Masjid al-Haram since the beginning of Ramadan.

In its statement on March 26, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that everyone can perform Umrah only once in Ramadan, “to give more people the opportunity to worship.”
