The Ministry of Foreign Employment said that as of this writing in 2023, 241 Sri Lankan workers have already departed for Carer positions in Israel.
According to the Ministry, there are 208 women and 33 men among the Sri Lankan employees.
Another 22 Sri Lankans who were chosen for caregiving positions in Israel were given their airline tickets yesterday.
The tickets were distributed at a function at the Labour Ministry that was sponsored by Manusha Nanayakkara, Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment.
