According to the sources, it is the first Tamil film to surpass the $400 million barrier in less than a week and the fastest film in Tamil cinema history to hit the Rs 150 crore milestone.
The film “Jailer” reportedly outperformed the film “Ponniyin Selvan-1,” directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam, which had previously held the record.
