Sri Lanka is gearing up to host a Legends Cricket Tournament this year, bringing together retired cricketing icons from around eight nations.
Scheduled to take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy in March 2024, the tournament’s launch, including the Player Draft, will be held in Colombo on February 15.
International cricket commentator Farveez Maharoof will host the event, where the prestigious trophy jersey will be unveiled alongside celebrity cricket legends.
With nearly 90 legendary cricketers from eight countries expected to participate, the tournament will feature seven teams.
