Why does the west care for Israeli lives more than Palestine ? – Azgar Nuhman

A dog wagging its tail is a common sight we see. But a dog dancing by the tail is a rare sight. It is a distortion as well as a view of the medieval era. We warned that it is a perversion and a great danger for America, the world’s superpower, to be danced by the tail of Israel.

“The other day, Netanyahu bombed the Iranian consulate office in Damascus, Syria and killed several Iranian military leaders and others. This is clearly an attempt to spread the war in Gaza to Iran and create a regional conflict. “Any time Iran counterattacks Israel, war fires will flare up in the Middle East. Subsequently Iran launched a massive attack on Israel. This attack consisted of three hundred drones and missiles. This is Iran’s first attack targeting Israeli territory. With that attack, the gulf was filled with fear and all the countries around Israel closed their airspaces.

This Iranian attack is not an invasion aimed at Israel but a calculated attack. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abodollahian said that Iran informed neighboring countries Turkey, Iraq and Jordan 72 hours in advance that it would launch an attack against Israel. Through Switzerland, Iran has also given the relevant message to America and it has been emphasized that this attack is only a response to the incident in Damascus. Iranian security officials have made it clear that they have no need to continue attacks against Israel.

Knowing about the Iranian attack, the United States, together with its friends Britain, France and Jordan, planned an operation to destroy these missiles and drones before they reach Israel. Israel joined in and has three robust US-supplied anti-missile defense systems. The plan to counter the Iranian attack was very successful and Israel was not harmed. American President Biden and British Foreign Minister Cameron emphasized to Israel that considering the foiling of the Iranian attack as a victory, they should refrain from attacking Iran again.

The European Union including France, Germany, and the international community including the Secretary General of the United Nations requested both sides to stop the Israel-Iran conflict and calm down. In particular, Russia and China, which support Iran, also called on both sides to stop conflict and calm down. World oil prices have already risen due to the Iranian attack. The potential economic fallout from a conflict in the Middle East is enormous.

At the beginning of this month, Netanyahu bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, without the knowledge of the United States. But Iran regarded it as a joint attack by America and Israel. Iran also strongly accused the US of the Damascus incident and threatened to retaliate. According to international news services, the United States has had to make considerable diplomatic efforts to convince Iran that it was not involved in the attack.

US State Department officials were angered and concerned about Netanyahu’s attack on Damascus. America has no need to turn the Gaza conflict into a regional conflict. President Biden made several public statements about it. International news services reported that the American President made a phone call to Prime Minister Netanyahu after the Iranian attack was foiled last Saturday (13), and stressed that America will not be involved in any way of Israel retaliation against Iran in the future.

But Netanyahu’s government insists that it will attack Iran again. They have ignored the request of the friendly camp of Israel including America. At this time of conflict in the Gaza Strip, why is Prime Minister Netanyahu creating a conflict on another front? There are several factors that directly affect it.

1) Diverting international attention to the genocide that killed more than thirty-three thousand Palestinians, as well as the famine created in Gaza;

2) The need for a protracted “patriotic” war for Netanyahu’s political survival;

3) Defeat Israelis coming to the streets to demand that Netanyahu resign and agree to a cease-fire in Gaza to free the hostages;

4) Getting rid of the opposition in the Western camp, including America, Britain, to not provide weapons to Netanyahu’s government due to the Gaza genocide;

5) Engaging them in a protracted regional war to quell protests from the Western camp itself against Israel’s genocide in Gaza for over six months;

6) Bringing back to the fore the “Iranian fear” mantra that Netanyahu has been chanting for a long time.

Israel’s famous newspaper “Haaretz” recently analyzed the six-month Gaza war of the Netanyahu government through its editorial. According to them, the Netanyahu government has not won the six-month Gaza war because Netanyahus IDF could not defeat Hamas completely. In the past six months, the forces have not succeeded in rescuing any of the Israelis kidnapped by Hamas. 133 Israelis are still in the custody of Hamas. Israel and its people are facing a more insecure situation than before. International support for Israel continues to dwindle as a result of the six-month conflict in Gaza.
It should not be surprising that the Netanyahu government is trying to create a regional war by extending the war to Iran and Lebanon in order to cover up these defeats.

Today, many Western international affairs analysts publicly point out that the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate office in Damascus, Syria, killing several Iranian military leaders, was clearly a step taken to secure Netanyahu’s political future. They emphasize that it is Netanyahu’s strategy to trap the Western camp, including America, in a long-term conflict in the Middle East through that attack.

According to the AP news service, President Biden also understands this reality and he has said in informal discussions that Netanyahu is trying to get the US involved in an unnecessary war in the Middle East.

But it is too late for President Biden. He has fully supported the genocide of the Netanyahu government for the past six months. Now he can’t let go of the tiger’s tail he has hold. Benjamin Friedman, Director of Defense Priorities, a US policy-making organization, points out that the Israeli government has started a war with Iran, emboldened by the hope of American help to counter Iran.

Fawaz Gerges, a professor of international relations and Middle East politics at the London School of Economics, offers a scathing critique of President Biden’s influence over Israel’s military decisions. “The Biden administration’s strategy toward Israel has failed decisively. Biden is leading America into another catastrophic war in the Middle East. “His main goal of preventing the war in Gaza from spreading to neighboring countries has failed,” Gerges says, pointing out that President Biden has failed to influence Netanyahu’s decisions regarding Gaza or Iran.

Professor Fawaz Gerges’ conclusion is correct. At least Netanyahu has yet to fulfill even the minimal promises of humanitarian aid he made to US President Biden after the World Central Kitchen incident. The Netanyahu government continues to block the entry of vital humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The United Nations confirmed that on Tuesday (16). According to Samantha Power, the head of USAID, the United States’ official humanitarian aid agency, the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip have already suffered from famine.

Why don’t the Palestinian people have the same concern about the Israeli people?

Last Saturday (13), America, along with its friends Britain, France and Jordan, saved the people of Israel from Iranian drone and missile attacks. But they have not had the same compassion for the past six months for the Palestinian people. The Netanyahu government killed 33000 Palestinian citizens in the last six months. 13000 of them are children. US did not even intervene to establish a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. Israel is using food and essential commodities as weapons to suffocate the people in Gaza. It is a violation of international humanitarian law. It is also a war crime. But America and the Western camp are turning a blind eye to these war crimes. Now the Palestinian people living in Gaza are facing famine but President Biden’s mouth is continued to be shut.

America and the Western camp do not value the lives of the Palestinian people.

However they have a great respect on Israeli lives because from 1967 the Zionist lobbying in the US state department and the US congress in lending money for US politicians in trade, arms, usury, finance and media are stronger than human civilization and humanity where the US administration cannot get out without its influence

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant referred to the Palestinian people living in Gaza as “animals”. In the past six months, it became clear that the Western camp led by the US, who appears as the guardian of democracy, does not consider the Palestinians living in Gaza as human beings. That is the harsh reality before us.
