The bodies of the seven prison officers who were killed during the recent violence at Negombo Prison were brought to Welikada Prison this morning (July 8) in a vehicle procession.
Final respects are being paid to the fallen officers at Welikada Prison before their remains are handed over to their families for funeral arrangements.
