Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
Rajapaksa appeared before the Bribery Commission on Friday in response to a formal summons.
His arrest is reportedly linked to an ongoing investigation into an alleged bribery incident concerning the proposed acquisition of wide-body aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.
