Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is in remand custody over allegations of accepting a bribe in connection with the purchase of Airbus aircraft, has been further remanded until October 27 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after considering submissions made by officials of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and the suspect’s legal representatives.
