Ramya Lanka organisation joined with the people of Puttalam in celebrating the country’s 75th anniversary of independence by donating hospital beds and medicine.
Accordingly, 35 hospital beds, along with a bed needed for the intensive care unit, as well as a stock of medicines, were provided to the Puttalam Base Hospital yesterday (03).
These were donated in order to provide support regarding the shortage of medicines currently prevailing in the country.
The management of the Ramya Lanka organisation and other dignitaries and religious leaders participated in this event, which was presided over by the Puttalam Divisional Secretary, the Chairperson of the Hospital Organising Committee, and Mr. Ali Sabry.
