The Ministry of Education stated today that the 2023 GCE Advanced Level Examinations will take place in November as scheduled.
According to a statement from the Ministry, 323,913 applications have already been submitted for the exam that will take place from November 27 to December 21.
The Education Ministry cited a number of factors as to why the exam was moved up to November, noting that one major factor was that teachers and lecturers failed to complete paper marking on time, which delayed the release of the previous exam’s results.
The Education Ministry further stated that the results of the 2022 GCE Advanced Level Examinations will be issued in the next few days.
Following the release of the results, students willing to resit the exams for the second or third time will be permitted to do so by following the procedure at the Department of Examinations, the Ministry added.
