Another Sri Lankan woman reported missing amidst Israel-Palestine conflict

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has informed that another Sri Lankan woman has gone missing amid the current conflict in Israel and Palestine.

As a result of the escalating Israel-Palestine conflict, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel reports that one Sri Lankan resident of Israel has so far suffered minor injuries and that two others are missing.

According to the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE), the Sri Lankan government is collaborating with the Sri Lankan embassy in Israel to safeguard the safety of Sri Lankans working in Israel as of yesterday (08).

The SLBFE also stated that information may be sent via WhatsApp to the contact number 0094-716640560 if a Sri Lankan resident in Israel had any problems as a result of the fighting.

Additionally, according to the SLBFE, anyone requiring information about Sri Lankans residing in Israel can do so by calling the hotline number 1989.

The Sri Lankan embassies in Tel Aviv and Ramallah are keeping a careful eye on the situation and are in touch with Sri Lankans residing in the impacted areas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported yesterday.
