In light of the Deepavali festival, which is observed on Sunday, the Ministry of Education has declared holidays for a number of government and government-approved private schools (Nov 12).
Because of the Deepavali celebration, all Tamil-medium schools will be closed on Monday, November 13.
However, in order to accommodate the holiday, the Education Ministry announced that schools will open on Saturday, November 18.
