Zahira College Colombo has announced that its Founders’ Day Oration 2025 will be delivered by distinguished old boy Dr. A.R.M. Imtiyaz on the theme “Impact of AI in the Modern Classroom: A New Learning-Teaching Approach from an Academic Point of View.”
The oration is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 4.00 p.m. at the Abdul Ghafoor Hall, Zahira College. College Principal Mr. Trizviiy Marikkar will preside over the event.
Dr. Imtiyaz, who currently serves as an Affiliated Scholar at the South Asian Center, Penn Arts and Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, USA, is also the recipient of the US Humanitarian Award 2024 in recognition of his efforts to build local communities in the tri-state area of the United States.
Highlighting his continued academic and humanitarian contributions, Dr. Imtiyaz will deliver the oration virtually via an online platform, offering a global audience the opportunity to engage with his insights on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in education.
