Sangakkara stated that old interview footage of him is being manipulated using artificial intelligence to promote fraudulent online investment platforms.
He urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid trusting suspicious investment advertisements being shared on social media platforms.
Sangakkara also advised people to verify information from official sources before making any financial investments online.
