Former Member of Parliament Premalal Jayasekara has been arrested by police in Nuwara Eliya over allegations of threatening an individual with a firearm.
Police Media Spokesman F.U. Wootler stated that the arrest was made following a complaint regarding the incident.
He added that further investigations are currently being carried out by the Sri Lanka Police.
