Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna General Secretary Attorney-at-Law Sagara Kariyawasam has been arrested.
This was when he arrived at the Central Crime Investigation Bureau today (10) to give a statement regarding a statement he made recently regarding the IGP.
He was arrested by the Central Crime Investigation Bureau on charges of making death threats to the IGP and making statements that made the President unpopular with the public.
