The Sri Lanka Police has announced that a special traffic plan will be implemented in and around Colombo during the official visit of Vietnamese President To Lam.
President To Lam, who is currently on a state visit to India, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (07) for a two-day official visit. He is expected to depart the island on May 8.
Police stated that the traffic arrangements will remain in effect throughout the visit in order to ensure security and facilitate smooth vehicular movement in key areas of the capital.
The special traffic plan is expected to affect several major roads and routes in Colombo, particularly around locations linked to the Vietnamese President’s official engagements during his stay.
