Visiting President of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, arrived at the Parliament of Sri Lanka today (08) as part of his ongoing State Visit.
President To Lam was received by Speaker of Parliament Jagath Wickramaratne upon his arrival.
The Vietnamese leader is currently on a two-day State Visit to Sri Lanka from May 7 to 8, undertaken at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The visit follows President Dissanayake’s State Visit to Vietnam in 2025, which marked the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, highlighting continued efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
