The Board of Peace, the body overseeing Gaza’s post-war transition, has announced that Hamas has formally agreed to a detailed roadmap for implementing the next phases of the ceasefire.

In a statement posted on X, the Board said Hamas had, for the first time, officially committed to an actionable plan to relinquish all of its weapons. According to the statement, the disarmament process will be followed by the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.

The Board of Peace said the agreement is the outcome of months of intensive negotiations aimed at advancing a post-war framework proposed by US President Donald Trump. The plan includes new governance arrangements, security measures, humanitarian assistance, reconstruction efforts, and economic recovery for Gaza, in line with the Comprehensive Peace Plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
