President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed three new High Court Judges, with their letters of appointment formally handed over at the Presidential Secretariat today (23).
According to the President’s Media Division, the newly appointed judges are Perumal Sivakumar, currently serving as District Judge of Jaffna; Anandi Kanagaratnam, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission; and Gnanesha Lalith Kannangara, District Judge of Colombo.
All three appointees are Special Grade officers of the Judicial Service.
President Dissanayake personally handed over the letters of appointment during a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat, formally marking their appointment to the High Court bench.
