According to Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, the expert report regarding the recent medical events that were recorded in Sri Lanka has been formally presented to the Ministry of Health.
The Health Minister claimed on Twitter that doctor-patient confidentiality prevented a full disclosure of the findings.
However, he continued, the results and recommendations have been formally issued and are now part of the public record.
“The report claims that anaphylactic shock caused the death. After a comprehensive, independent examination by the National medicine Regulatory Authority (NDQL), we are awaiting the results of a quality test of the reported medicine,” he added.
