The Pastor Jerome Fernando’s Fundamental Rights (FR) appeal, which asks the court to impose an injunction barring his detention by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), will be considered by the Court of Appeal on September 21, 2023.
The Senior State Counsel, who represented the Attorney General and appeared in court, revealed that the limited objections to the petition had already been submitted.
When the pertinent petition was heard by the Court of Appeal yesterday, the order was made.
