The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sri Lanka has arranged a donation of Ceylon Tea to the people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip, symbolizing the country’s support and solidarity.
The consignment was handed over to the Palestinian Ambassador by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in a ceremony attended by diplomats from various countries.
Sri Lanka expressed solidarity with Palestine, emphasized the need for collective action, and proposed building a school in Palestine once stability returns.
The donation, facilitated by the Sri Lanka Tea Board and Sri Lankan Airlines, was delivered to Gaza with the assistance of the KSrelief Foundation of Saudi Arabia.
