The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Saudi Arabia has announced two important initiatives this week aimed at supporting the Sri Lankan migrant community in the Kingdom.
The 26th session of the “Talk to Your Ambassador” forum will take place on August 28, 2025, from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM. The program will allow Sri Lankans to speak directly with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Ameer Ajwad, to raise concerns, seek guidance, or share suggestions. The Embassy has requested participants to keep their passport details and relevant documents ready during the call. The session can be joined via phone or IMO/WhatsApp by dialing 056 975 3380.
Meanwhile, a Regional Mobile Service for the Hail Region will be conducted on August 29, 2025 (Friday) from 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM at the City Flower Hyper Market Building, Al Mahattah, Hail. Services available will include SLBFE registration/renewal, job order attestation, agreement authentication for self-employed professionals, welfare and insurance assistance, workplace complaint handling, salary-related issues, and repatriation support.
Sri Lankans attending the mobile service are required to bring their passport or national ID card copy and Iqama (residence permit).
The Embassy said both programs are part of its ongoing commitment to address the welfare and employment-related needs of Sri Lankan migrant workers in Saudi Arabia.
