Pakistan to Host Education Expo in Colombo, Offering Fully Funded Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students

Sri Lankan students interested in pursuing higher education in Pakistan will have the opportunity to explore fully funded scholarship options at a special education expo in Colombo on July 2.

The event, organised under Pakistan’s Allama Iqbal Scholarship Programme, will feature representatives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and several leading Pakistani universities.

The education expo will be held at the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), University of Colombo, at the Ground Floor Cafeteria, from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Participants will receive information on fully funded scholarships available for Sri Lankan nationals, admission procedures, academic programmes, and student life in Pakistan.

Representatives from the following universities are expected to attend the event:

  • Bahria University, Islamabad
  • COMSATS University Islamabad
  • Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi
  • Khyber Medical University, Peshawar
  • Liaquat University of Medical Sciences, Jamshoro
  • Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur
  • University of Lahore

The expo is aimed at providing prospective students with an opportunity to interact directly with university representatives and learn more about higher education opportunities in Pakistan under the Allama Iqbal Scholarship Programme.
